West African Carved Ceremonial Wall Plaque

Inspired by traditional African art, the wall plaque is used to decorate the royal chamber.

The panel combines many elements associated with different African cultures:
Cowrie shell patterns painted around the borders – historically used as currency and spiritual protection symbols in many West and Central African cultures.
Animal heads and figures (lion, elephant, antelope/buffalo, reptiles) – animals often represent power, royalty, or protection in African symbolism.
Carved figures that resemble tiki-style or tribal ancestor figures.
Tusks (likely carved bone or resin made to resemble ivory).
Metal castings that resemble Benin-style bronze animals.
A central lion head, symbolizing leadership or strength.
